Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina has returned to training at Nottingham Forest after his absence since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo disclosed that Aina had played the final of the tournament against Cote d’Ivoire while nursing an injury.
In a recent post on the official Forest Facebook account, Aina was spotted participating in training sessions, indicating his progress toward full fitness.
Aina’s last appearance for Nottingham Forest was against Manchester United on December 30, where Forest secured a 2-1 victory at the City Ground. Despite his injury setback, Aina has scored once in 14 league appearances for the Reds this season, showcasing his versatility and contribution to the team.
