Ola Aina, Tomori Leave Hull City

Date:

English Championship side, Hull City have confirmed that Ola Aina and Fikayo Tomori have returned to their parent club, Chelsea, following the expiry of their loan deals with The Tigers.

The two right-backs were left out of The Tigers’ squad for their post-season trip to Kenya, thereby fuelling speculation that the club will not be signing them on a permanent basis in the summer transfer window.

Hull stated : ”Aina was the first of the Chelsea loanees to join the Tigers on a temporary basis in July and went on to make 46 appearances in all competitions.

”His one and only goal in a black and amber shirt came in the FA Cup Third Round victory over Blackburn Rovers in January.”

The Tigers added: ”Tomori – a third loan signing from Chelsea – arrived on the final day of the summer transfer window and went on to make 26 appearances for the Club in all competitions.”
