Ola Aina Wants More Improvements At Torino

Date:

AS Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina says his side still need to improve in key areas, despite footballlive.ng noting that they enacted a surprise away victory at the weekend.

Aina, who was in top form for the Turin-based side in their 1-0 victory at Chievo Verona, admitted that his side had to give in extra effort to secure the important three points.
The full back, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, was on for the entire duration, playing on the left side of his team’s defence.

However, Aina earned a game high rating of 7.4, after completing 79% of his passes, won 12 duels contested and made four clearances to wrap up an all-around solid performance.

Aina, who has featured in all of Torino’s Serie A league games so far this season, starting in five, however, says the team will have to be more determined to maintain the momentum.
He then went on to exude confidence that they will be able to eke out another decent result ahead of the next international break when they welcome Frosinone.

Aina said: “It was all about winning; we did everything to bring home the three points and at the end, we succeeded.

“It wasn’t easy because they defended well in the second half but we managed to play more, finding the goal in the final minutes.

“We have to keep working hard to improve game after game. I think we are growing, but there is still a lot to work on.
“The next match against Frosinone will not be easy but we will have to play with the same mentality, doing everything to win.”
