AS Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina has seen his market value soar from €600,000 to a mammoth €10m, sequel to his sterling form in the Italian Serie A and a major talking point in weekly rave reviews.
Footballlive.ng gathered that, what appeared to be a gamble in taking the dark-skinned Super Eagles’ full-back to Turin on loan from Cheslea last summer, has turned into a massive scoop for the Italian midstream club.
Consequently Turino are not bating an eyelid in their decision to cough out the asking price from Chelsea, as the Italian side have agreed to buy Aina outright from The Blues.
Torino coach, Walter Mazzarri, who handled fellow-Super Eagles stars, Odion Jude Ighalo and Isaac Success for a while at Watford, has decided that the club will take up the €10m option to buy Aina this summer.
This is regardless of the fact the 22-year-old versatile defender arrived from Chelsea on loan at €600,000 in the summer, but has since seen his value escalate in mammoth proportions.
This is because Aina has shone this season, scoring one and producing an assist in 22 Serie A appearances for The Granata, who previously had in their ranks at various points the trio of Angelo Obinze Ogbonna, Nnamdi Vincent Oduamadi and Joel Chukwuma Obi.
