Enyimba central defender Isiaka Oladuntoye has declared war on Cara Brazzaville ahead of their final Group C CAF Confederation Cup match on Wednesday.
The People’s Elephants need an outright win to ensure they pick a ticket to the quarter finals of the competition.
Having lost 3-0 to the Congolese side in the match day 2 of the Confederation Cup, Oladuntoye says the two-time CAF Champions League winners will seek their pound of flesh at the newly refurbished Enyimba International Stadium.
“We want revenge, that’s all. They didn’t spare us in Brazzaville. Our pound of flesh is what we want,” Oladuntoye said to Footballlive.ng ahead of the match on Wednesday.
“Our target is to win convincingly and pick three points. We can’t wait to get on to the pitch and make a huge difference.
“His excellency Governor Okezie Ikpeazu did well by ensuring that the Stadium was put back to shape. We are excited to return to where we belong,” he added.
