More details have emerged in the chain of interest coming for Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo from top clubs in Germany, with observers disclosing that is due to the performances he put up in high-profile matches against Real Madrid and Bafrcelona.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Omeruo has also gained transfer interest in Spain, ahead of the summer window, with a number of clubs in La Liga said to be keen on scooping him away from Leganes.
It is now left to be seen how Leganes will ward off interest coming for Omeruo from both Spain and Germany, while feelers also indicate that top shots at his parent club, Chelsea of England are bracing up for a sale.
The Blues could be in line for hefty summer sale for Omeruo, though he is yet to play a single competitive game for their senior team, since he signed for them in 2012 from Standard Liege of Belgium.
Omeruo, who has signed two contract extensions at Stamford Bridge, has been loaned to ADO Den Haag of Holland, twice to Middlesbrough of England, twice to Kasimpasa of Turkey and once to Lig rivals, Konyaspor, but he is now s attracting transfer interest while on-loan at Leganes.
The 25-year-old dark-skinned stopper has twinkled bright in just half a season on loan at Leganes, during which time he has helped them keep a clean sheet victory against Real Madrid and impressed against Barca.
His form in those crunch matches, plus other sterling performances with Leganes, who have an option to buy him outright at the end of the term, have now left him open to offers in Spain and the German Bundesliga.
