Striker Tosin Omoyele was on the scoresheet for Nogoom in their 2-1 loss to Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday night.
The former COD United and Osun United forward reduced the deficit for the visiting team at injury time.
An own goal from Ahmed Abdel Fattah and Ahmed Hassan’s strike propelled Wadi Degla to an important 2-1 win at the Petrosport Stadium (al-Qāhirah (Cairo)).
Wadi Degla started in an electrifying fashion, when Nogoom’s Abdel Fattah put the ball into his own net to make it 1-0 in the 21st minute.
The Cairo side started fiercely in the second half, and their high pressure paid off in the 65th minute as they increased the tally through Hassan.
Omoyele, who worked hard throughout the match was finally rewarded at the first minute of additional time with his first goal of the season.
After the loss, Nogoom are 17th in the Egyptian Premier League table with 21 points from 24 games and will face Haras El Hodood on the 2nd of March.
