Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi continued his stunning run of form for club side Trabzonspor, with the 25-year-old proving his mettle in a 2-1 win over Fenerbahce this this past weekend.
Also featuring for the Karadeniz Fırtınası in the game was Anthony Nwakaeme.
Trabzonspor are seventh on the Turkish Super Lig log, with Onazi one of their outstanding players thus far.
Onazi held his own at the central midfield in the club’s victory at the Medical Park Stadyumu on Sunday.
The run of form comes as a reward for Onazi who was recently snubbed by Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr for the two games against South Africa and Uganda.
In total, the former SS Lazio man has played 13 league games this season, scoring one goal.
Trabonspor return to action on Saturday with a league clash against Kayserispor.
