Joseph Onoja says that Gombe United will be aiming to rectify defeat to Yobe Desert Stars by winning their next Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outing against Plateau United.
“Yobe Desert Stars are a good team. We knew that they are strong, with excellent players in their team,” mused Onoja post-match.
“Here, the rivals have shown how they could be in the NPFL. Now, we need to continue fighting and learn a lot of things to get better and be ready for the next encounters.
“We will fight. Trying to cause problems to our opponents. We will work even more in training and get stronger – both physically and mentally.
“But we have a lot of matches left to play. Nevertheless, we’ll have to try and get some good results now.”
“And we will try to win the next game!”
