There are fewer better ways to start life at a new club than coming on with 15 minutes to go to equalize for your team and then have a teammate grab the winning goal at the death while playing away from home.
This was exactly what an excited Onoriode Odah did with his new Egyptian club, ENPPI as they came from behind to defeat El-Moqawloon in the Egyptian Premier League with the Nigerian grabbing the all important equalizer with barely 5 minutes of regulation time remaining.
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng after the inspiring performance, he said, “The coach put me on with 15 minutes remaining on the clocks to improve our chances of get at least a point from the game because we were still behind at the time. I am glad and I give glory to God because I got the goal in the 86 minutes to bring the team level and my colleague scored the very winner very late on.”
This was the former Rivers United Attacker’s first competitive for the Egyptians following his transfer earlier this week and now fans of the ENPPI outfit would be hoping for more after the impressive debut performance.
