FC Midtjylland of Denmark attacker, Paul Onuachu is moving closer to the club’s exit door, as footballlive.ng can report that a deal is lying in wait for him in next month’s transfer window.
This much has been confirmed by Midtjylland’s managing director, Claus Steinlein, who disclosed that a deal had already been on the cards for Onuachu’s transfer since the summer.
Steinlein hinted further that there is an agreement between the club and Onuachu’s agent that the player would be sold before the current season runs its full course.
With the 24-year-old Onuachu already attracting interest across Europe, Steinlein says it would be wise for Midtjylland to make the attacker available for any club with a concrete offer next month.
Onuachu, who hit his 11th goal of the season in the Danish Superliga last Sunday against AC Horsens, may now cut short his current contract, which is billed to end with the 2019/20 season.
Steinlein posited: ”It has always been the plan that Paul Onuachu will first be sold this summer. It has been agreed with him and his agents.
“Paul has been Superliga’s most dangerous attacker this year. He is a complete attacker and he is very strong.”
