Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru has admitted that he had a summer transfer offer from Valencia of Spain, but says he is fully committed to his new club.
After netting his first goal for Gala last weekend, Onyekuru says he is reassured that he will get over the nightmare that hit him at RSC Anderlecht, hence his decision not to put to mind the offer from Valencia.
The Spanish side, who shot Nigerian-born former Spain youth international, Sunday Stephen (Sunny) to limelight were ready to buy out Onyekuru’s fresh loan deal from his parent club, Everton of England.
Though the 21-year-old Onyekuru has confirmed the interest of Valencia, the former KAS Eupen of Belgium attacker insists he is fully committed to Galatasaray, where he has hit the ground running in pre-season, scoring two goals in three games.
Onyekuru disclosed: “It is true that Valencia is interested in me. I liked this fact, but now I am a player of Galatasaray and I do not think this deal can take place.
