Onyekuru Gains Links With Dortmund, Valencia

Date:

Galatasatray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru faces a stiff test in his loyalty form the Turkish Super Lig club, as he has received tempting offers from Borussia Dortmund of Germany and Valencia of Spain.

Footballlive.ng reports that, with Onyekuru in top form since arriving at Gala on loan from Everton of England in the summer, the Super Eagles’ rookie should feel at home in Istanbul, but transfer offers are rolling in.

However, in the wake of reports at the weekend that Galatasaray have move d to sign Fernando Llorente from Tottenham Hotspur of England, Onyekuru could be tempted to consider his options as well in January.

The odds are now against the former KAS Eupen and RSC Anderlecht of Belgium to either stay put or move, as additional reports indicate that Valencia plan to replace Michy Batshuayi with Onyekuru.

Aside Los Che, whose Nigerian tradition started with Sunday Stephen (Sunny) eight years ago, Dortmund, who once had ex-international, Victor Nosa Ikpeba on their cards, are also said to be hunting Onyekuru.

Since arriving at Galatasaray in the summer, Onyekuru has scored six goals, such that he might not be ready to start afresh at either Valencia of Dortmund.

That could bring back memnories of his hurried exit from Anderlecht, where he sparkled goals, despite playing mostly down the left wing, but soon fell out with the coach and management over tactics and fitness.
