Galatasaray forward Henry Onyekuru says his career has taken a new step following a loan move to the Turkish club from Everton.
The striker suffered an injury during his loan stint at Anderlecht last term.
He is happy again as player in the Turkish top fight.
“As a striker you need to keep scoring and building your confidence to score,” Onyekuru began in a chat with Footballlive.ng.
“Every season brings a new target. I want to score goals and help my club win trophies.”
“It’s a new phase and chapter for me in my promising career.”
The skillful forward missed out of the 2018 World Cup train due to injury sustained during his loan spell at Anderlecht of Belgium.
“I have already forgotten about the injury. It’s a new beginning for me,” he posited.
Onyekuru is expected to feature for the Super Eagles in the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier agaubst
“I am happy to be here again with the team.
“We hope to come out victorious here.”
“There is togetherness here. We are one big family,” the former AS Eupen striker added.
