Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru has delcared that he wants to see improvements in his team, in order to recover from last weekend’s loss in the Turkish Super Lig.
Heading into Friday’s home match against Erzirumspor, Onyekuru said it was saddening seeing his side lose, but footballlive.ng learnt he believes they can recover fully from the 3-0 slump away to bottom-placed Akhisarspor.
Defeat last time out meant Galatasaray dropped to second on the log, with their second loss of the season keeping them on 12 points from six games played, but Onyekuru believes his side will bounce back.
Galatasaray were made to pay for their first-half penalty miss, with goals from Elvis Many, Guray Viral and Mustafa Yumlu handing the hosts their first win in seven outings this season.
Onyekuru, who featured for the entire match duration, said he and his colleagues have learnt from their mistakes during the encounter and believes they will do better on Friday.
He declared philosophically: “We may fall but we get back up! Always with our heads held high. Lions, we’ll be back stronger and we will focus on improving in our next match.”
