Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has stated that the Nigeria senior national team have the perfect mentality and attitude at the moment.
The Galatasaray star believes this will help the team’s quest to end their inability to have Nigeria play at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Onyekuru speaking in a chat with Footballlive.ng said that the team is back with a stronger and better resolve to achieve the target of picking the ticket to next year’s AFCON.
“We have our pride restored with the 3-0 victory against Seychelles last weekend,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“As a team, the Super Eagles have the perfect mentality and attitude to beat all comers in the qualification for 2019 AFCON.
“Our path to the tournament will be tough but we will pull through and qualify,” he added.
