Onyekuru Turns Attention Fully On Porto In UCL

Date:

Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru says he and his mates quickly put behind them the disappointment of a 2-2 draw at home against Caykur Rizespor at the weekend, as he says they must turn attention on their UEFA Champions League clash with FC Porto.

The UCL tie will hold at same venue on Wednesday and, after admitting that his side were careless to let slip a two-goal lead last weekend, Onyekuru says they must keep going in order to beat Porto at home.

On hindsight, Onyekuru says it was disappointing to see his side start early at home against Rizespor, and were in total control of the game after taking a two-goal lead but were later pegged back in a 2-2 draw.

The visitors rallied back with Nigerian striker, Aminu Umar and Jose Samu netting in the 68th and 80th minutes respectively, after which Onyekuru took to the social media to express his frustration.

“Frustrating to get just a point. We Keep Going,” tweeted Onyekuru, whose side lie fifth in the Turkish Super Lig, while Rizespor are last.
