Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel has returned to full training and back in action with Fenerbahçe.
This comes just in time for their upcoming Istanbul derby against Galatasaray, where he may face off against fellow Nigerian star, Victor Osimhen.
Osayi-Samuel had missed three matches due to injury, including Nigeria’s AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda. His absence allowed Taminu Benjamin to step in for the national squad.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen will miss Galatasaray’s match against Gaziantep due to registration issues but is expected to return for the big derby.
Fenerbahçe currently leads the Turkish Super Lig with 13 points. However, if Galatasaray wins their outstanding match, they could leapfrog Fenerbahçe ahead of the clash.
