Osimhen Admits Glee Over Goal Number Six

Sporting Charleroi of Belgium striker, Victor Osimhen has admitted he was thrilled to the marrow after netting his sixth goal of the season for his club.

In the wake of his latest stunning effort in the Belgian top-flight league at the weekend, footballllive.ng can report that Osimhen is more gleeful than ever.

The Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer, who is on loan from VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, took to social media to express his glee for being part of his side’s 4-2 win away to SK Lokeren.

Incidentally, Osimhen struck few minutes after getting off the bench to help Charleroi fight back, as the home team took the lead on 16 minutes through Guus Hupperts, before Ali Gholizadeh equalized on 19 minutes.

Christian Benavente then struck for Charleroi after 57 minutes, to make it 2-1, before Osimhen replaced Adama Niane with 20 minutes left, but made the best of the remaining time to still make hay as well.

Osimhen made his impact felt nine minutes to the end, taking Charleroi up to 3-1 before Bambo Diaby pulled one back for Lokeren on the 88th minute, only for Jeremy Perebel to make it 4-2 in added time.

Aside helping in the away win, Osimhen was also happy to see the result take Charleroi to 8th position on the log with 23 points from 16 games.
