Osimhen Gets Fresh Honour In Belgium

Date:

Racing Charleroi of Belgium striker, Victor Osimhen has received another personal honour at his new base, with one of his goals named the best so far this season.

Footballlive.ng gathered that Osimhen’s back-heeled goal against Waasland-Beveren in September has been named as the best goal scored by his Belgian club thus far this season.

The Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer hit the ball from about six metres to fool his markers as well as the goalkeeper, and it was his first goal in an official game since he moved to Europe.

The goal was adjudged the best, after which the 19-year-old scored twice in five league games for Charleroi.

He is on loan from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, but Charleroi have the option to buy him permanently at the end of his loan spell by season’s end.
