Sporting Charleroi of Belgium attacker, Victor Osimhen says he is happy with the rain of goals he has unleashed on opponents since his arrival on loan from VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, but says he aims to net more, as he is targeting as many as possible.
The Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer admitted he has had a massive turnaround in fortunes, since arriving from where he had failed to get a breakthrough in three years, but footballlive.ng gathered that he is not ready to relax at all.
Rather than take his feet off the pedal, Osimhen said he will gun for more bull’s eyes with Charleroi, and always aim for the net, even if it means having to be selfish once in a while.
As the rave continues for Osimhen, Wolfsburg have indicated their desire to have him back from the loan deal, but Charleroi can make it permanent at the end of the season if they meet his 3.5m euros value.
However, having netted five goals in seven games across all competitions, Osimhen is not thinking of leaving Charleroi and would rather want the fairy tale to continue beyond the current campaign.
Osimhen stressed gleefully: “I just want to do my job and score as much as possible. As an attacker you have to be a bit selfish to go for the goals, I feel like I’m going to score for Charleroi often, I hope so.”
