Greek champions PAOK Salonica have opened discussions with Scottish side Rangers for the services of Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers.
According to reports from Greece, the champions, who are preparing for the Champions League, are in advanced talks with Rangers to sign the striker.
The 29-year-old scored 22 goals and provided 9 assists in 54 matches last season.
Rangers failed to secure the title last season, finishing second in the league and the FA Cup.
Although Dessers’ contract still has three years remaining, as he joined the club last summer, Rangers will seek a substantial fee for the attacker if they decide to sell.
The 29-year-old is also eager to make the switch, especially with the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League and alongside countryman William Troost-Ekong.
