Pascal calls for inclusion of experienced players in Eagles fold

Date:

Former Nigeria international and Coordinator of the Super Eagles, Patrick Pascal (MON) has called for inclusion of more experienced players in the senior national side despite the progress made by the youthful lads in the team, reports Footballlive.ng.

The three-time African champions got a bitter dose at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, where they crashed out in the first round.

Even though the team of youngsters usually exhibit exotic brand of football, the astute administrator feels experienced players should be used to spice up their flavour.

“We are blessed with exciting talents in this country. This reflects in the way the senior national side plays it matches,” Pascal told Footballlive.ng.

“I always make it clear that these boys can go places in the future because they have shown promises.”

“But we need to make it be a mixture of youths and experience.”

“The young lads will need the services of the experienced players to spur them to greater heights.
