Paul Aigbogun reacts over sentiments in picking players for WAFU.

The head coach of U 20, Paul Aigbogun so far has being the centre of attention as he put forth a list of 20 man squad which sixof the players, are from various unknown academy and five  other players from Enyimba . 

Our sources gathered that some people went as far as calling coach Paul a business man for such selections. 

In response to the allegations labelled  on the former warri wolves gaffer coach Paul Aigbogun spoke through a telephone conversation    to clarify the worried minds.

Coach Paul said every single players on the team was picked on merit and based on their intelligent performances through out the screening. 

Made sure every players who came for the trials was giving ample time to express himself.

Everyone who had the chance to convince us, those that could not make through, were not up to the standard of performance required. 

It so unfortunate that the mentality of some people is that when an unknown player is picked in to the camp the feel an exchange has being made,  it so disheartening to hear i collected  N200,000 naira bribe for name inclusions.

It saddens me a lot, because i believes in proper consultations and i will not stop at seeking advises from those that knows better than me on how to get better. 

Picking players from a particular club was not done on purpose but on their display of good character of play and they have being in the team since the qualifier series .

He concluded by saying we hope to give our very best all time in the tournament.
