Paul Onuachu Unlikely to Return to Southampton

Date:

Super Eagles Forward, Paul Onuachu is reportedly not considering a return to Southampton after a successful loan spell at Turkish Super Lig outfit, Trabzonspor.

Onuachu joined Trabzonspor on loan last summer following a challenging six-month period at Southampton.

During his time in Turkey, Onuachu scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 25 matches.

Southampton payed €18 million to sign Paul Onuachu from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk. They are now looking to sell him for €15 million.

Trabzonspor’s proposal to extend the loan deal has already been rejected by the Saints.

Southampton just got promoted to the English Premier League on Sunday after defeating Leeds United in the Playoff Final at the Emirates.
