Perugia of Italy have taken the option to drop on loan defender, Nura Abdullahi from their roster for the new season, following worries over a heart issue has was diagnosed with towards the end of last year.
Though Nura and his representatives insist the lad on loan from AS Roma is hale and hearty, Perugia are thinking differently, hence their decision to end his loan deal before it reaches a conclusive point.
Nura joined Perugia in the January transfer window on a two-year deal, but has now been sent back to Roma, as he awaits further developments from the medical point of view.
He was involved in three matches for Perugia after completing his move but was not available for selection in their last fifteen league games of the season due to his heart condition.
The 20-year-old full-back, who began his career in Italy at Spezia, is set to return to Stadio Olympico, with a dream to revive his career.
He appeared heading for great things with the Rome-based side when he was registered by Roma for the group stages of last season’s UEFA Champions League and was included in the match day squad for five Serie A games.
