Former AS Trencin Winger, Philip Azango who put pens to paper on a three years deal with KAA Gents on transfer deadline day in Belgium as described his move to the Belgian Giants as a new challenge for him.
Speaking to wwwfootballive.ng, he said, “I have to be at my best for KAA Gents so as to justify the transfer fee, efforts and the confidence shown in me by the club to make a move on deadline day.”
He went on to say it was a dream come true to move his career to the next stage so early in his stay in Europe as he was only in his third season with AS Trencin following a move from Plateau United and he is already looking forward to the new challenge with KAA Gent of Belgium.
Philip Azango went further to say he was hoping to follow in the footsteps of other GBS Academy, Buruku product like Moses Simon, Simon Kalu, Hilary Gong etc who have stepped up from AS Trencin to good effect.
He concluded by thanking the GBS Academy proprietor, Coach Bros who he said was a beacon of light God used to take us Career to the next level while praying that God blesses the Plateau United FC Technical Director.
