Pillars Players reacts over the return of coach Ibrahim Musa

Date:

The Sai Masu Gidan boys  have strongly kicked against plans of bringing back  by force the just-left former head coach of Kano pillars coach Ibrahim  Musa by the Kano State Speaker Kabiru Alhassan Rurum .

It’s is known that the contract of the former coach had expired at the end of last season and wasn’t renewed as the assistant coach , coach Balera was immediately declared the interim coach of the club.
Coach Musa who got his chance as a head coach  failed to win a single trophy , while also fighting everybody on this team from players to top management officials during his reign.
When they players met with Kano State Deputy Governor Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, who is also the president of the YSFON. They blatantly made their position known in regard to the matter to the Deputy Governor .
One of the players told our source in footballlive that the Speaker is behind plans to have ‘Jugnu’ (coach Musa) back as Kano Pillars head coach because he was his coach during his own football playing days.
His contract has ended and someone else should also get his chance to lead Pillars. The player said.
He further said,  You can’t mix politics with the technical aspects of football,” another player added.
The management should be allowed to appoint the coach they believe will lead Pillars to glory and not to be told by politicians how to do their job.
