The president of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the players and coaches of the Super Eagles at the state House in Abuja.
The three-time African champions who were very impressive throughout the Afcon tournament arrived early hour of Tuesday morning.
The entire team, including players and officials, were in attendance at the state house including Alex Iwobi, who faced a cyber attack bullying following the defeat against Cote d’Ivoire at the final.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expresses his gratitude to the Super Eagles by presenting them with the prestigious Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) award, national honour for their impressive display at Afcon, he also the president gave each player a residential unit in Nigeria and a parcel of land in the Federal Capital Territory. This gesture serves as a token of appreciation for their outstanding service.
