Belgium were drawn with Panama, Tunisia and England in Group G, and along with the Three Lions, are favourites to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Former Everton manager Martinez has now named his preliminary squad ahead of the tournament, which surprisingly does not include fan favourite Radja Nainggolan, while Adnan Januzaj was an unexpected inclusion.
Superstars Kevin de Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Dries Mertens were all selected for the squad, and will be looking to lead Belgium in attack, along with Romelu Lukaku and China-based Yannick Carrasco.
