Ramon Azeez believes that Lugo are ‘recovering’ from their poor start, and will hit their stride soon.
Lugo have endured a mixed start to the campaign, winning five and losing five of their first 14 games of the season.
But the Nigerian central midfielder has insisted that his team will come good.
“The team is united and has always had a good attitude,” he told Footballlive.ng.
“Sometimes we have not played how we would have likes, but we are a family and we stick together.
“We are recovering though, and I’m sure, little by little, we can get back to our best.
“We have goals that we want to reach, but we have to earn respect from opponents through our performances.”
Meanwhile, the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles midfielder was in full time action for Lugo as they edged Cordoba 2-1 on Saturday.
