Coach of NPFL league leaders Lobi stars Solomon Ogbeide has stated that the reason why home based players never get taken seriously for Super Eagles assignment is based on lack of trust and underrating the quality of players in the domestic league.
Ogbeide said the domestic league has good number of players that can match their foreign counterpart if given the opportunity in matches and stressed that he doesn’t see any reason why current NPFL top scorer Junior Lokossa shouldn’t be given an invitation to the Super Eagles world cup bound team having scored 16 goals already in the first stanza of the league.
