It has been 99 days since Tyronne Ebuehi announced via instagram that he would be out for the long spell for a ligament damage during SL Benfica’s pre season and the defender is not close to a return.
In August, he posted :
“After every disappointment there will be a blessing”⏳✨????
It’s still hard to realize what happend a few days ago and to not be able to play the game for a long time, but i have to accept it and move on. God always has a plan and this will make me mentally and physically stronger. I want to thank everyone for all the messages and prayers! I really appreciate it ❤️????????
Olá Benfiquistas, muito obrigado pelas mensagens. Vou voltar mais forte!
Ebuehi joined the Portuguese side in the summer from ADO Den Haag for a fee in the region of £1.35million.
He was part of Nigeria’s world cup squad to Russia and featured in the win over Iceland.
The 22-year-old is expected to return in January, 2019 as he continues to recuperate from the torn left cruciate Ligament.
