Super Eagles debutant and Remo Stars defender, Sodiq Ismail, has shared the crucial mindset needed for his team to secure victory over Kano Pillars in their upcoming NPFL matchday 34 fixture.
Speaking to the media, Ismail impels the Sky Blue Stars must have a winning mentality to secure a victory against the Sai Masu Gida at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Sunday.
“We have to approach the game against Kano Pillars with a winning mentality on Sunday,” Ismail stated. “We must come out with the victory in the encounter.”
Ismail’s call to focus on victory is to aid their race for the NPFL title.
The team currently stands 3rd on the table with 56 points, tying with Enyimba who is second on the table with River United topping the table with 60 points.
Kano Pillars stand 9th on the table with 47 points.
