Remo Stars forward, Sikiru Alimi, has revealed the keys to his impressive goal-scoring record in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), crediting his success to dedication and hard work.
“Scoring 14 goals in the NPFL has not been easy, it’s been hard work,” Alimi told Rooted in the Game. “I’m still very active and pushing to add to the tally and help my team achieve our goals for the season.”
Alimi has scored 14 goals this season, tying with Enyimba’s Chijoke Mbaoma for the most goals in the league.
Remo Stars currently occupy the second position on the table with one point behind Enugu Rangers who is the league leader.
The title defenders are contending to to retain the NPFL title this season with 6 games left to play.
