Following the departure of Whyte Ogbonda to Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels have announced the appointment of Tosan Blankson as their new head coach.
Rivers Angels recently triumphed in the President Federation Cup final, defeating Naija Ratels 1-0. Shortly after, coach Whyte Ogbonda announced his exit from the club.
The announcement of Blankson’s appointment was made on the official Rivers Angels handle on the X platform.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tosan Blankson as our new head coach,” the club stated.
“The details of his contract will be disclosed to the public during his official unveiling, which will take place at a later date.”
The Jewels of Rivers are expected to report back on August 7 to commence preparations for the upcoming season.
