Rivers Angels striker Vivian Ikechukwu has expressed joy with her second major title as a professional footballer.

The former COD Ladies and Abia Angels forward featured for Rivers Angels who made it three titles on the trot with a 1-0 victory over last year’s victims Ibom Angels in the final of the AITEO Cup women’s competition at an impressive Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Tuesday evening.

 

Juliet Sunday got the goal that separated both teams as the Jewel of Rivers fought tenaciously against the Orange Girls as they did last year in Jos.

“This is my second major title as a professional football. I won the Super Cup with Rivers Angels and now added the Aiteo Cup to my collection. I’m so happy to be part of this historic feat,” the former Flamingoes striker told Footballlive.ng.

“We deserved to emerge as champions in the final. This was as a result of hardwork and dedication in the part of the entire team. We proved ourselves and got the needed goal at the right time.”

Vivian Ikechukwu also commented on Ibom Angels and praised them for giving Rivers Angels a good fight.
