Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr is full of praise for what he calls ‘the professional attitude’ of his players in shaking off the disappointment of Wednesday’s loss to Czech Republic and quickly shift their focus toward their first match of this year’s World Cup.
With the Eagles set to open their Russia 2018 campaign next Saturday against Croatia in Kaliningrad, Russia, Rohr said he was happy to see the players ready for training less than 24 hours after the loss to Czech Republic and they were all committed during the drills.
Rohr added that the result that matters will be in Russia though he admitted his team is not ready for the tournament as things stand.
The Franco-German tactician spoke about his team after the Czech Republic friendly on Wednesday evening.
Rohr said: “I am not sad because of this result, the result that matters will be in Russia.”
