Rohr invites Mikel, Ndidi, Echiejile, 25 others for Poland, Serbia Friendlies

Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has listed captain Mikel John Obi, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and defender, Elderson Echiejile in his 28 –man squad to battle Poland’s fellow Eagles and Serbia in pre-FIFA World Cup friendly matches this month.

In the list is the team captain Join Obi Mikel who was in blistering form for his Chinese based club over the weekend alongside John Ogu, Ogenetaro Etebo and a recall for in-form FC Torino Midfielder, Joel Obi after 5 years out of the squad.
Invited in the goalkeeping department are home based Goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa who plays for Enyimba, Daniel Akpeyi who plies his trade in South Africa with Chippa United and Deportivo De La Corona Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho.
The Super Eagles who are preparing for the summer world cup will play against the senior national team of Poland at the 43, 000 capacity Stadium Wroclaw on Friday, 23 rd March 2018.
Consequently, the Super Eagles will face Serbia on 27th at The Hive, London home ground of Barnet FC and London Bees.
