Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr is billed to make public his latest list of invitees, as he gets set to commence preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles on September 8.
With days counting down fast to the away fixture, Rohr is scheduled to return to Nigeria at the start of next week, and subsequently rolled out his first post-World Cup list of invitees next weekend.
Information on offer from sources close to the Franco-German tactician indicates that Rohr will arrive in Abuja next week to commence preparations for the match against Seychelles.
Rohr has not been in Nigeria since the Eagles failed to go beyond the group stage at Russia 2018 World Cup, but he has been actively involved in FIFA-organized seminars and meetings.
However, Rohr had disclosed along the line that he has been travelling round Europe to monitor Nigerian players doing well with their various clubs during pre-season.
He will be in France this weekend to watch new arrival at Girondins-Bordeaux, Samuel Kalu debut in Ligue 1, after arriving this summer from KAA Gent of Belgium.
Speaking of his plans, Rohr confirmed that he will be in Nigeria next week and would likely release his team list for the Seychelles match on Friday.
He said: “I will be in Nigeria next week. We will announce our list for Seychelles when I arrive. This week end I will watch the first appearance of Kalu with Bordeaux.”
