Arsenal of England fast-rising youngster, Bukayo Saka has received a major prompting to stick with England for his future in international football, rather than switch to Nigeria, with former Liverpool star, Peer Crouch providing the advice.
In what could be a verdict detrimental to high hope held by Nigeria Football Fedeation (NFF) to convince Ska in making a switch next year, footballlive.ng can report that Crouch believes the 17-year-old winger would be better off with The Three Lions.
Consequently, without mincing words the ‘beanpole’ striker, who also made top marks with Stoke City, stressed that Saka can only make the progress his talent deserves by donning England’s colours.
The London-born Saka has already gained four appearances for Arsenal’s first team since making his professional debut against Vorskla on November 29, 2018 in the Europa League, but Crouch believes the kid still has a lot more to offer.
Crouch stated: ”I am also hearing a lot about a young winger at Arsenal called Bukayo Saka. Those who have watched him frequently say he is very exciting.
”He is only 17 but if he progresses as is hoped, his name will be spoken about much more in the future.”
