Former under 20 youngster, Salim Fago Lawal has praised coach Ladan Bosso. Lawal was a member of the under 20 world cup squad that played in Argentina under the nigerian flag.
Salim mentioned that the coach is a good person, who treated the players like his own children. He also mentioned that the coach gave a lot of encouragements and ensured that the players were always in the right headspace
“Coach Bosso is a good person, he doesn’t see us like players. He treats us like his own children, and he ensures we’re in the best headspace possible. He encourages us to do better, even when mistakes are made, he tells us that we can do better. I believe he’s a very nice person”, Salim mentioned.
Salim played all the games of the last under 20 world cup, scoring 1 goal in a 2-0 win against Italy. He played a crucial part for Bosso’s team, until the team lost to South Korea in the quarter finals of the tournament.
