Girondins-Bordeaux of France winger, Samuel Kalu has shot a look ahead of Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash away to Strasbourg, and declared that it will accord him another opportunity to show what he is made of.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Kalu is already anticipating a sound result for his side at Sade de la Meinau (8pm kick-off), as he believes current form will see them through.
Although it is an away fixture, Kalu is sure that his coach, Eric Bedouet, has the right tactics to marshal the team to victory, which would be a third straight triumph for the squad.
Incidentally, Bordeaux have a strong head-to-head ratio against Strasbourg, with 11 wins and eight defeats, plus 11 draws between them, such that Kalu feels Saturday will be another edge for his side.
The former KAA Gent of Belgium youngster, who is fast becoming a key part of the Nigerian national team under Franco-German gaffer, Gernot Rohr, promised to keep doing his best to play well for Bordeaux.
Kalu, who has scored three league goals since his arrival in the summer and helped his side reach the League Cup semi-finals stated: “I feel good with my performance so far and I just want to keep doing well.
“We still have a lot of games to play before the end of the season; but I just want to keep doing well and helping the team.”
