After a successful 2018 which saw him move from Gent in Belgium to Boudreaux in France and a first time call up to the camp of the Super Eagles, Nigerian international Samuel Kalu has stated that the out gone year will serve as a motivating factor to him as he returns to action for Boudreaux in the French Ligue 1.
Kalu crowned an overall successful year with Bordeaux by scoring the clubs final goal of 2018 in a 1 – 1 draw at home against Amiens SC in the French Ligue 1. The Nigerian international on his New Year resolution has promised a higher level of motivation in 2019. “2018 have come and gone 2019 now new chapter new motivation.”
The Nigerian international joined AS Ttrncin of Slovakia from GBS Academy in Nigeria before moving to Gent in Belgium in 2017 and Bordeaux in the summer of 2018.
Kalu will be in Bordeaux’s lineup when they face Le Havre SC in the French Ligue Cup round of 64 on Sunday January 6th.
