Girondins-Bordeaux of France winger, Samuel Kalu has played down his chances of getting a senior debut with the Super Eagles against Seychelles on Saturday, but says the whole team will do everything to get victory in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Kalu, who joined Bordeaux from KAA Gent of Belgium this summer, said he would love to play on Saturday, but insists the emphasis is on the team winning as a whole, though they are playing away.
Kalu stressed that the team will not disappoint on Saturday at Stade Linite in Victoria, but added that Nigerian fans have a role to play in supporting the squad all the way.
He restated that the three-time African champions intend to win and return to reckoning in Group E of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers, ahead of South Africa and Libya, but stressed: “We must win here. We will give everything to do just that.”
