Adewale Oluwafemi Sapara is happy with the way the season has panned out for him, having netted eight goals in nine games for Campeonato de Portugal Prio outfit, Oleiros.
Last weekend, the 23-year-old grabbed the solitary goal as Oleiros pipped Uniao de Leiria 1-0, and he has vowed that he will keep firing on all cylinders until the end of this season.
“I do not know how many goals I will score this season, but I wish to add to the number of goals I have scored already.
“Hard work and playing together as a team is behind my good form this season,” the former Quarteirense, Sertanense and Almancilense attacker told Footballlive.ng.
He also highlighted the need to put less pressure on Oleiros in their bid to gain promotion to the Segunda division.
“The season is yet to hit halfway. We are 7th on the standings. We have a lot of matches to play and it is too early to know the team that will gain promotion with 13 matches played,” he concluded.
The forward has been in Portugal since 2014, with stints at Quarteirense, Sertanense and Almancilense before he switched to Oleiros at the start of the 2018/19 campaign.
