Saviour tips struggling FC Ifeanyi Ubah to rise, fancies continental crack

Date:

FC Ifeanyi Ubah might have struggled for form in the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, that is a thing of the past according to young midfielder Saviour Francis.

The team will be back to action in the week 25 cracker with Wikki Tourists at the Fortress on 18th July.

Saviour who joined from Cynosure at the beginning of the current campaign says the remaining matches will be approached with renewed vigor.

“It is true that results didn’t favour us before the league went on break. I belief all was a blip,” Saviour told FootballLive.ng.

“We have a quality team capable of competing with any side in this country. Our remaining matches in the league will be approached with renewed vigor.

“The major task ahead of us is Wikki Tourists in front of our fans. We want to start our redemption from there and see what happens in our subsequent games.”

“Continental ticket is our target. The whole team have resolved to make this happen,” the youngster remarked to FootballLive.ng.

The Anambra Warriors are 17th in the NPFL table.
