How do you celebrate your first league goal in two years?
Leon Balogun smashed the ball with a half volley as it was headed into his path from a corner; his anticipation, the technique and the outcome made the goal spectacular enough for an equally pristine celebration.
Tuesday night was only his fourth appearance; third from the bench, for the Sea Gulls after his free transfer to the Premier League club.
Balogun had barely amassed 25 seconds on the pitch before he grabbed the headlines in a highly tensed match, with what should surely be a goal of the season contender.

Never mind his goal came against Crystal Palace, the center back’s celebration was reminiscence of Rio’s famous Christ the Redeemer Statue.
The Nigeria could barely contain the joy of his first premier league goal and who can blame him… it was a bloody fine thing!
