Rotherham United of England defender, Semi Ajayi is heaping praises on his teammates in the Nigerian national team, as he says he has been able to settle into the squad pretty fast because of their love and care.
Speaking ahead of another camping schedule of the team next week, as they prepare to battle South Africa in their next 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on November 17, footballlive.ng reports that Ajayi is happy with the friendly atmosphere he has enjoyed in the Eagles.
Ajayi admitted that playing for the Eagles has helped him to improve his game and believes he can learn even more from other players in the Nigerian national team.
Ajayi added: “I would say playing for the national team has given me more confidence to continue improving.
“There are some great players in the Super Eagles set up that I am now able to watch up close and learn from and add things to my game.
“It’s been very easy. The reception I’ve had from my teammates and all the fans has been amazing.
“I feel really at home in the squad and this has helped me to express myself on the pitch and give my best.”
