Defender Sincere Seth featured for Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor on his first game of the season as they humbled Goztepe 3-1 at the Bornova Doğanlar Stadı on Sunday.
The versatile lad tasted 90 minutes action in the Turkish Super Lig opener.
Yeni Malatyaspor Manager Erol Bulut deployed the former Nigeria Under-23 star on the right side of the defense and he was overly impressive.
Seth, 20, accounted for the assist that resulted in Danijel Aleksic’s strike in the 73rd minute of play.
“I’m happy with how the game went. I like how I played and I’m much excited. I hope to get more playing time in the coming games,” Seth told Footballlive.ng.
“We wanted to win the game and start the league on a win. The feeling was great contributing my quota to the result. I think I can perform better than this level.
Seth joined Yeni Malatyaspor on a three-year contract from Rhapsody Academy in 2017.
